Sea Walls - Critical Thinkers Forum

Thu 03 May

What are the opportunities for artists working within the public realm? How can artists get involved in important social and environmental issues and inform debate through their artwork?

Meet professional international artists with a focus on addressing critical environmental issues through large-scale public artworks. This panel discussion will explore pertinent issues surrounding public artwork, the environment and community engagement through the arts - as well as offering tips for artists who want to sustain a healthy practice in this field.

You’ll hear from a councillor, conservationist, high profile artists and the Sea Walls team about the intrinsic value and challenges of translating powerful messaging through public art.
