Frisson – a French term meaning a sudden strong feeling of excitement or fear– captures the emotional intensity felt by artists during the creative process. This curated exhibition showcases the graduating Diploma of Visual Art students from TAFE Queensland, presenting diverse conceptual works across a range of mediums.
Each artist invites you into their unique world of ideas, materials, and experimentation, offering a glimpse into the emotional and intellectual journey behind their art making. The exhibition encourages audiences to engage with contemporary art through both thought and feeling, exploring the tension, excitement, and vulnerability that define the creative experience.
