The Understory Symposium is the annual filmmaker’s talk in Far North Queensland that is designed to stimulate discussion, debate new ways of thinking and encourage stronger cross-artform and cross-sector partnerships, networks and collaboration.
Join a live panel of industry experts who will discuss their career highlights and what inspires them as filmmakers, together with the challenges their work can present.
The Symposium is a free event and open to the general public. We strongly urge all filmmakers who have submitted an entry to Understory to engage in this incredible opportunity to learn and be motivated by our talented team of creatives.
