Threads - Nicola Bryars-Parker

Tank 4 Gallery is closed Good Friday (3 Apr) and Easter Monday (6 Apr).

Exhibition: Sat 4 Apr - Sun 3 May
Launch: 5.30pm, Fri 10 Apr

Threads presents new works by Nicola Bryars-Parker created during her 2026 residency in Ahmedabad, India. Immersed in the city’s rich textile and printmaking history, each piece forms a tapestry shaped by the residency experience and Nicola’s ongoing practice of working with recycled and found materials. Layered surfaces, sound, lighting, and texture weave an intimate dialogue between inner landscapes and the environments that shape them.

The exhibition celebrates making, materiality, and the connections between memory, story, and creative exploration. Through layered marks, tactile surfaces, and subtle sound, Threads encourages viewers to pause and immerse themselves in the rhythms of the work, revealing the quiet threads linking place, practice, and perspective.
